Arrow Keys to hop
Frogger is the cabinet that turned crossing the street into an arcade staple. You guide a frog from the bottom of the screen to its home pad at the top — first across a busy multi-lane highway, then across a river by hopping between logs, turtles, and other floating drift. One mistake ends the life.
Frogger shipped in 1981 from Konami, licensed in the US by Sega/Gremlin. It was a top-five arcade earner in 1982 and the rare cabinet that women played as often as men — the gentle, family-friendly aesthetic was a deliberate choice against the era's shooters.
How do I play Frogger? Use the arrow keys to hop your frog forward, back, and sideways. Cross the road by dodging cars, then cross the river by riding logs and turtles. Reach a home pad at the top to score.
Is Frogger free? Yes — no signup, no downloads, no installs.
Why does my frog keep drowning? Frogs can't swim — you have to ride something floating across the river. Turtles dive periodically, so watch for them submerging.
Does my high score save? Yes — your best Frogger score is stored locally in your browser.
