Mahjong Solitaire

The goal is to clear the whole layout by removing tiles two at a time. You may only take a tile that is free: no tile is stacked on top of it, and at least one of its left or right sides is open (not touching another tile on the same level).

Click one free tile to select it, then click a second free tile with a matching face to remove the pair. The four Flowers all match each other, and the four Seasons all match each other; every other tile matches only its identical twin.

• Easy — a small 2-layer board (60 tiles). A quick, forgiving warm-up.
• Classic — the full 144-tile mound across three layers.
• Hard — 144 tiles stacked into a tall tower, so fewer tiles are free at once.

Every board is built so a complete solution exists. Hint highlights a matchable pair, Undo takes back your last removal, and Shuffle rearranges the remaining tiles into a fresh solvable layout if you reach a dead end.
