Scorpion is Spider's single-deck cousin with a sting: there are no foundations. You win by arranging the four suits King down to Ace inside the columns themselves. Any face-up card can be moved with everything stacked on it, in order or not, onto a card one rank higher of the same suit. Forty-nine cards are dealt into seven columns, some face down; the last three wait in a reserve and land on the first three columns when you ask for them. Every deal is a puzzle of reversals.
Controls. Tap a card then a column, or drag. The reserve deals three cards onto the first three columns when you need them. Undo is unlimited, Hint lights up a legal move, and every deal has a number: Replay restarts it and Share copies a link so a friend can play the identical layout. Keys: N new deal, D or Space for the stock, H hint, Ctrl+Z undo.
How do you play Scorpion Solitaire? Build down by suit within the seven columns, moving any face-up card with everything on top of it; place Kings in empty columns; deal the three reserve cards when you need them. Win by forming all four suits King to Ace in the columns.
What is the difference between Scorpion and Spider? Scorpion uses one deck, builds by suit only, lets you move any face-up card with its stack, and has no foundations — completed suits stay in the columns. Spider uses two decks and lifts finished runs off the table.
When should I deal the reserve? When the first three columns are short or empty, so the three cards land where they can be reached, not on top of a run you have built.
Is every Scorpion deal winnable? No; a meaningful share cannot be solved. Undo and the hint button help with the ones that can, and the deal number lets you retry the same layout.
