Use arrow keys or WASD to move. Eat apples, avoid your tail and the walls.

How to play Snake

Snake is the classic mobile-era arcade game: you guide a growing snake around the screen, eating apples to score points without crashing into the walls or your own tail. Each apple makes the snake longer, and the longer it gets, the harder it becomes to weave through the open space. The round ends instantly the moment the head hits anything solid — so plan a few moves ahead.

About Snake

Snake hit critical mass in 1997 when Nokia bundled it on the 6110 handset, instantly making it one of the most-played video games in history. The concept goes back further: Gremlin's 1976 arcade game Blockade introduced the “grow on contact, die on collision” mechanic. The rules are simple enough to learn in under a minute, which is exactly why Snake refuses to age out.
