Triple Yahtzee is classic Yahtzee played three times over, simultaneously. Turns are identical — up to three rolls, hold any dice between them — but each turn's score lands in exactly one box of one column, and at the end the left column counts once, the middle doubles, and the right triples. Thirty-nine turns instead of thirteen.
Regular Yahtzee asks "which category?" — Triple adds "which column?", and that second question is where games are won. A Yahtzee in the ×3 column is 150 points before bonuses; the same roll in ×1 is a third of that. So the discipline is simple to state and hard to hold: bank your monsters right, dump your failures left, and remember the ×1 column exists to absorb zeros with dignity.
Each column earns its own upper-section bonus — 35 for reaching 63 — and the bonus multiplies too, which quietly makes upper-section discipline in the ×3 column worth more than it ever is in the base game.
All values match classic Yahtzee: upper section counts the named face; three and four of a kind sum all dice; full house 25, small straight 30, large straight 40, Yahtzee 50, chance sums everything. Total each column, apply ×1/×2/×3, add the three together.
Can one roll score in two columns? No — exactly one box, one column, every turn.
Do extra Yahtzees bonus? House rules vary here more than the base game; many groups skip the 100-point bonus in Triple. Agree first.
