Table assignments for euchre night, mathematically fair: across the full schedule every player partners every other player exactly once. Number your players as they walk in and point at the chart.

The format is simple: number the players as they arrive, and each round everyone finds their seat from the chart, plays one game to 10, and records the result. The charts guarantee the thing a shuffled deck of name tags never quite manages — across the full schedule, every player partners every other player exactly once. Nobody gets stuck carrying the same partner all night, and nobody can grumble about stacked teams.
Four players, two teams, 24 cards (9 through ace). Each hand, a card is turned and players may order it up as trump or pass; the jack of trumps is the top card (right bower) and the same-colour jack second (left bower). The calling team needs three of the five tricks — all five is a march for 2, and winning alone pays 4. First team to 10 wins the game. Full details live on our euchre score sheet page.
Two common formats. Wins: each game's winners score a point, most wins takes the prize. Points: everyone tallies the game points their teams scored across all rounds, which rewards big hands and keeps last place interesting. Track either on the euchre score sheet — one per table per round.
The schedules are full partner rotations — 7 rounds for 8 players, 11 for 12 — but they work top-down, so a shorter night just stops earlier; the partnerships stay fair for the rounds you complete. Sixteen players? Print two 8-player charts and run the room as two flights. And the honest fine print: these charts perfect partnerships; opponents vary round to round, which is what keeps the night social.
Can we play fewer rounds? Yes — play the rounds in order and stop when you like.
What about 6 or 10 players? Those need sit-out rotations rather than clean tables of four; with 12 or 8 present, use the charts as printed.
